Itinerary
Day 1: From Cusco to the Sacred Valley & Train to Aguas Calientes
Your journey begins at 7:40 a.m. with pickup from your hotel, marking the start of an unforgettable adventure through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your first stop is the archaeological site of Chinchero, where you’ll also enjoy a demonstration of the ancient Andean weaving tradition.
The tour continues to the remarkable circular terraces of Moray, followed by the famous Maras Salt Mines—an extraordinary network of salt pools where local families have harvested salt using traditional methods for centuries.
After enjoying a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, you’ll continue your journey to the impressive archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a magnificent Inca fortress built from massive stone blocks.
Later, you’ll board a scenic tourist train to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night. This is more than just the end of the day’s adventure—it’s the beginning of an unforgettable experience, as you’ll visit the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu the following day.
Day 2: Machu Picchu Guided Tour & Return to Cusco
At 4:00 a.m., we’ll get ready to board one of the first shuttle buses to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a guided tour lasting approximately 2.5 hours, where you’ll discover the fascinating legacy of the Inca civilization while exploring the most iconic areas of the citadel.
The sites visited will depend on the entrance circuit assigned to your ticket, although we’ll do our best to secure Circuit 2 whenever possible. After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to continue exploring at your own pace or capture unforgettable photos.
After your visit, you’ll take the shuttle bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll board the tourist train to Ollantaytambo. From there, our transportation will take you back to Cusco, marking the end of an unforgettable two-day adventure.
